Seasonal Lawn Mowing in Angus

We'll keep your grass cut every week from spring through fall so you don't have to.

Consistent Mowing All Season Long

You book once, we show up every week. That's it. No reminders, no rescheduling, no wondering when the next cut happens. We run the same route through Angus every week from May through October, and your property's on it.

We mow, edge, and blow clippings off walkways and driveways. If it rains on your scheduled day, we'll come the next clear day. You're not paying for a week we skipped. Folks in Banting and over near Mill Street have been on our routes for years - it just works.

Seasonal contracts lock in your rate for the whole season. No surprise price jumps in July when everyone's scrambling to find a crew. You know what you're paying, we know when we're coming.

What's Included in Every Visit

Every visit covers mowing, trimming around obstacles, edging along hard surfaces, and blowing off clippings. We're not bagging unless you ask for it (costs a bit more, but we'll do it). Most people let the clippings mulch back in - it's better for the lawn anyway.

We adjust cutting height based on the season. Spring gets a slightly higher cut to help roots establish. Mid-summer we raise the deck during heat waves so grass doesn't stress. Fall we drop it a bit for the last few cuts. You don't need to tell us - we've done this long enough to know.

If we spot something off (bare patches, grubs, weeds taking over), we'll mention it. We're not a Spring Cleanup crew or a landscaping design firm, but we'll point you in the right direction if your lawn needs more than mowing.

How Scheduling Works

We assign you a day of the week based on your neighbourhood. Most of Angus gets covered Monday through Thursday. We don't bounce around - if you're a Wednesday property, you're always Wednesday (weather permitting).

You don't need to be home. Gate unlocked, no obstacles in the yard, and we're good. We'll text you when we're done. If you're going on vacation or want us to skip a week, just let us know 24 hours ahead.

Seasonal contracts run May 1 to October 31 in most years. That's usually 22-24 cuts depending on weather. We bill monthly - same amount each month, easier for everyone. If you need Gutter Cleaning or other property care later in the year, we're already familiar with your place.

Why Angus Homeowners Choose Seasonal Service

One-off mowing is fine if you only need it twice a year. But if you want a lawn that actually looks maintained, weekly cuts are the baseline. Grass grows fast here in spring and early summer. Skip two weeks and you're hacking through a jungle.

Seasonal service costs less per visit than calling someone every time. You're also first in line when weather gets weird. One-off customers wait. Contract customers get priority because we've already built you into the route.

People in Cedar Pointe and the newer developments near Parkview Estates tend to go seasonal because it's just easier. You're not thinking about the lawn all summer. It's handled.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if it rains on my scheduled mowing day?

We'll come the next clear day, usually within 24-48 hours. You're not charged for a week we skipped due to weather. If rain drags on for several days and grass gets long, we'll still cut it at the regular rate - we don't upcharge for taller grass during the season.

Can I pause my seasonal service if I'm away for a few weeks?

Yep. Just give us 24 hours notice and we'll skip those weeks. We don't credit back skipped weeks on seasonal contracts (the rate's already lower because you committed to the season), but if you're gone a month or more we can work something out.

Do you mow in extreme heat or drought?

We'll still mow unless you tell us not to. During heat waves we raise the cutting height to reduce stress on the grass. If your lawn's gone dormant and isn't growing, we can skip a week or two - just let us know. Most people still want it cut for appearance even if growth slows down.
